The wait is over, pre-season is done, league rugby returns to Seghill this Saturday (14th Sept)
The 1st XV are back in action as we welcome Prudhoe & Stocksfield RFC to Welfare Park in the 1st round of Durham/Northumberland 3 fixtures.
The game kicks off at 3pm and the lads are looking forward to having plenty of support on the sidelines. There is no admission fee and all supporters are welcome to visit our Clubhouse Bar pre and post match.
We are showing the Liverpool v Newcastle United game live on our big screen at 12.30pm and the Clubhouse Bar will be open until the rugby kicks off, re-opening on the final whistle around 4.30pm.
There is also a sponsors event taking place throughout the afternoon with plenty of former players in attendance. It's a great chance to come down and catch up with friends and teammates.
As you may have seen via our social media channels the club is starting to build towards our centenary season in 2021. Our focus is to enhance our legacy and to show the spirit of our founders by getting stuck in, giving people the opportunity to try something new and (fingers crossed) being successful!
